'Should this rogue company be granted a whaling permit by the Icelandic government next year, Sea Shepherd will be forced to escalate our campaign to end this madness.'

4, The current law on whaling in Iceland was passed in 2013. This law expires at the end of the year and will have to be renewed by parliament if whaling is to continue next year. MPs are split on whether to renew the law. The Prime Minister of Iceland, Katrín Jakobsdóttir has expressed her opposition to continued whaling, as well as the Minister of the Environment. Both are members of the Left Green Movement. Please email or write polite letters voicing your support for Iceland's whale watching industry and the establishment of a national whale sanctuary in Iceland's territorial waters:
