Operation Mjölnir

Our crewmembers working on this campaign have had to endure the horrifying sights and smells of the operations of this whaling company run by Icelandic multi-millionaire Kristján Loftsson for 98 days of 2018.

'Should this rogue company be granted a whaling permit by the Icelandic government next year, Sea Shepherd will be forced to escalate our campaign to end this madness.'

1, Share on social media our crew’s campaign updates as well as viewing past photos and livestreams on Sea Shepherd UK’s Facebook page at: http://www.facebook.com/seashepherduk

2, Please help Sea Shepherd UK continue our Icelandic anti-whaling campaign by making a donation at: justgiving.com/seashepherduk - or at: paypal.me/seashepherduk

3, Share images from our campaign which you can find at: https://seashepherduk.myportfolio.com/iceland-2018 where photos of every whale will be uploaded - and if you have contacts in the media pass on this link and a link also to: www.seashepherd.org.uk

4, The current law on whaling in Iceland was passed in 2013. This law expires at the end of the year and will have to be renewed by parliament if whaling is to continue next year. MPs are split on whether to renew the law. The Prime Minister of Iceland, Katrín Jakobsdóttir has expressed her opposition to continued whaling, as well as the Minister of the Environment. Both are members of the Left Green Movement. Please email or write polite letters voicing your support for Iceland's whale watching industry and the establishment of a national whale sanctuary in Iceland's territorial waters:
